Conference access

Information desks

An information desk will be located at Tromsø airport on Sunday 18 January between 14:30 and 22:00. An information desk will be located in the conference area. The staff will be happy to assist with any queries. The desk opens 1 hour prior to the first session in the morning and stays open until thirty minutes after the last session. Conference location

All sessions are at the University of Tromsø – “Teorifagbygget” Address: Breivika, 9037 Tromsø.

Transportation by bus

Arctic Frontiers buses are marked with our logo, tickets are included in the conference fee.

Bus stop for departures from town center is between Hotel Rica and SAS (3 & 4 at the map).
 

Monday 19

From Rica Ishavshotel to University: 07:30 and 08:00 From University (Teorifagbygget) to Coastal Liner: from 16:10 From the Coastal Liner to conference pub – Ølhallen: Shuttle between 20:45 and 21:15.
 

Tuesday 20

Message board

There will be a message board for conference participants located next to the conference information desk.
 

Technical staff

Technical staff will be available during all sessions. Please direct all other enquiries for technical assistance to the conference information desk. Presenters who have not submitted their presentations in advance should report to the conference information desk at arrival.
 

Admission

At registration all delegates and exhibitors will receive an admission card. This card is required for admission to the conference venue, lunches and dinners.
 

Poster Exhibition

The poster exhibition will be open during the entire conference.

Lunches

Lunches will be served in the cantina one level up from conference area.

Live broadcast

Complete policy conference is broadcast live on Internet: www.arcticfrontiers.com Be precise! Due to live broadcast we are starting precisely on schedule.

No smoking policy

Smoking is not permitted in either the conference venue or the restaurants.

Cell phones

We kindly ask all participants to turn off cellular phones during presentations.

Dress properly!

On Monday 19 January you directly join the conference dinner on a cruise ship: Remember to bring an appropriate suit for the conference dinner. At 16:10 you will take the bus directly to “MS Finnmarken“. Gentlemen: please bring your (“pocket”) ties already in the morning. You will not make it to your hotel room before the cruise ship is leaving Tromsø harbour!
